Jacket: SWEET jacket by Prairie Underground, local design team from LA. Peruse this and other styles on Riley and Coco, or get straight to the jacket here.
Dress: God I wish I knew, I'd go get one. I pulled it out of Jenna's closet when I was figuring out how to style the jacket. Was it Bebe? I don't know, but that shit's hot. Maybe she'll lend it to you if you ask nice.
Shoes: Thrifted in Austin when I stopped in for Christmas. <3 Miss it. ...wait, does that heart look broken? That's so sad.
So, back in the day, when I first moved to LA, I was working customer service at a certain fashion-related company (won't name names), answering phones and de-escalating super pissed off people who'd been shipped entirely the wrong thing, in entirely the wrong size, in entirely the wrong color. This was not the most fun, gotta say, BUT-- during this time I met Jenna, also a recent fashion grad who, poor thing, was consistently talking down the most supremely pissed off people who had crazy anger management issues on top of it (CRAZIES). So I was STOKED when Jenna and I got together for dinner months after the both of us had parted ways with our brief stints at customer serving, to learn that she and her friend Jessica had started their own online website, where you can shop exclusively for locally made, LA designed fashion. RAD. Riley and Coco was in its inception, and now, a year later (has it already been a year???), it's on fire. I had the pleasure of working with Jenna and Jessica, styling some of the pieces from their site and roaming Jenna's apartment building to get shots with Jessica's camera. That's right, putting the home grown back into the LA fashion scene, one disruptive hallway photo shoot at a time.
